Well I am at 30 weeks now and Khalid and I can hardly believe it. I can remember that day in the bathroom at work seeing the positive sign like it was yesterday! How I just stared in shock before breaking out in tears and smiles. It was just unreal after the months of seeing the opposite sign. Now we have 10 weeks left and I know it will speed by quickly. Even though the third trimester aches and pains have totally settled in, I am cherishing each and every day of this pregnancy. I don't even think about the pains when I feel Baby E kicking and rolling around in there! Here is my 30 week pic.
We had a little mini adventure this week with the ice storm. Khalid was less than one mile away from home and ended up in a ditch. He was perfectly safe which is all that really matters in situations like that. I picked him up and his car was towed back the next morning. No scratches or anything so no big deal! It was nice to be iced in for a day and a half. It adds a little element of excitement to the day! We just relaxed and watched all our DVR'd shows. Very productive ;)
Now I'm gearing up for my baby shower in Tulsa this weekend. Can't wait to see everyone!!
